Select an encrypted vault backup from this app, a plain JSON notes export, a plain-text file, or a Markdown file.
Each file becomes one note. The filename is used as the title, and any Obsidian YAML front matter is read and removed — a title: or category: in it wins over these settings, and tags are kept as a line at the end.
This is the master password of the vault the file came from — not the password of the vault you are importing into. It is used here on this device only, to decrypt the file before re-encrypting the notes with your own password.
